P&Z recommends to deny a zoning change that could bring over 500 jobs, citing environmental concerns

Two headlines dominated the news cycle in San Marcos this week. On Tuesday, Dr. Joca Marquez and Mark Rockeymoore stunned the city by convincingly winning two seats on the San Marcos City Council.
Additionally, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted to deny a zoning change for a property that would bring around 500 jobs to the city, with more investment come after.
