Tax incentives for big businesses are a controversial topic in many growing cities across the country and world. But what about tax incentives for residents? More specifically, what about tax incentives for single-family homeowners in the historic district?

This week on the San Marcos Scoop, Exsar was joined by Griffin Spell, Chair of the San Marcos Historic Preservation Commission, to talk the commission’s desire to investigate the prospect of tax incentives for the historic district.
